Combine some food of quality but also simple can give us a great joy. At the time of a cocktail or brunch, nothing better than a slice of crusty bread with some rich things. Discover how easy you can prepare a great dish in minutes with this cream cheese toast recipe.

  • 8 slices of bread from your favorite bakery
  • 16 tablespoons GRADOLI cream of goat cheese with boletus or goat cheese cream with Módena vinegar
  • 2 onions not too big
  • Two good red tomatoes
  • 3 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • Vinegar


We started making the caramelized onions. Cut the onion into strips and sauté over low heat. When your onions are transparent, add a dash of vinegar and sugar. Stir and let caramelize slightly.
Open your cream cheese, tomato and roast the slices of bread. Spread the cream cheese in the bread, put your tomato on it and cover with your caramelizad onions just when they are ready.


Toast with cream cheese and caramelized onion is an excellent aperitif accompanied by a glass of chilled white wine or beer, according to your own preferences. It is important to be patient and gently cooking the onion to avoid burn it.  If you are not a fan of tomato you can prepare it without, it will taste great too.
